Break a Body, Save a Soul warns that attempts to redefine interrogation techniques to permit the infliction of severe pain are undermining basic rights, and being used to justify gross abuse.

Subtitled, Christians and Torture in the world after 9/11, the book makes a passionate appeal to confessing Christians to face up to their responsibilities on the issue.
